Directions: Sledding hill at the southeast corner of M-52 and Waterloo Road. This is state land.

Comments:There is a small dirt parking lot on Waterloo Road just across from the hill.

2010 UPDATE: This is an old Glacier hole north of chelsea off of M-52. This divot has several approaches and is fast and long enough to snowboard on. The west side is incredibly steep and short so you will gain a lot of speed. The west side is slower and longer. There are lots of ruts and jumps. There is a public parking lot right next to it and half the time someone (probably illegally) has a small bonfire going. I think this is all DNR land but everone uses it to sled. Also theres a nice cross country ski hill at the back end of the parking lot.

2012 UPDATE: Would like to add to the posting that the best access is from the dead end at the south end of Lexington Drive. Visitors can park on Lexington or on the cross street Norwood. Best way to get there is Fort Street southbound, and turn right (West) onto Norwood Street. Park entrance is off Lexington which is the first left off of Norwood.

The hazard I noted is that the backside of the hill slopes down to a stream, which would be treacherous if not frozen over. Recommend using the front side of the hill only.
